Every resident is an individual, and Pine Lodge’s staff tailor its services to suit the abilities and requirements of each.

Each room is decorated and furnished to a high standard and most have en-suite facilities. The accommodation is situated over two floors with three separate sitting rooms and a variety of outdoor seating areas.
Pine Lodge’s Gardens
To the front of the property is a delightful rose garden that provides a seating area that is a definite favourite on warmer days. There is also a short and level walk around the garden as well as an opportunity to be involved with the many plants and hanging baskets that blossom, especially in the summer months. There are beautiful outlooks to the front and rear including the rose gardens and a nature area which attracts an abundance of wildlife.
Meals
All our meals are freshly prepared and cooked in our kitchens, by our dedicated cook and staff who pride themselves on producing a wide variety of wholesome, tasty food. Our menus are constantly developed and reviewed, introducing tempting new dishes alongside tried and tested favourites. Our main meal is provided at lunch time, with a choice of delicious main course and dessert. Residents can opt to enjoy their meals in the large, airy dining room overlooking the garden, one of the informal sitting areas or in their own room. Our caring staff are very happy to serve breakfast in bed, at a time that best suits each resident and our cook will always try to offer alternative main meals for anyone who isn’t tempted by the daily choices available. We aim to provide nutritious and appetizing meals in comfortable and sociable surroundings, to ensure meal times are an enjoyable part of each day.

Staff
Pine Lodge Care Home is managed by Lynne Flourentzou who is supported with experienced senior deputy care staff and a dedicated team of care assistants and catering staff.
Activities
We offer a programme of activities designed to entertain and stimulate our residents, such as “mind and motion” workshops; creative art; film nights; puzzles and games; and gentle exercise to music classes. Participation is encouraged but it is up to each individual how many, or few, activities they wish to take part in. The programme is reviewed and refreshed, and we ask residents for their input in choosing activities that they find most enjoyable and rewarding.
Arrange a visit
With flexibility being integral to our ethos of care, we are pleased to invite those with an interest in long or short term care to contact us for a friendly, confidential chat or to arrange a visit. Visits are without obligation and free of charge.
You might prefer to find out more about us by joining us for a meal, a day, or a longer period of time including an overnight stay. We would be delighted to meet you and discuss your requirements.
Paying for Care
We are acutely aware of the financial considerations of placing a loved one in a care home. We recommend a not-for-profit company, Paying for Care, to discuss your options and the help available.
Care Quality Commission
We are registered with the CQC and our homes are inspected regularly.
